Senior Development Engineer, Engineering

Working knowledge of MSC Adams Software and its application areas.
Domain knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics

• Develops computer aided engineering software in C, C++ and python preferably in MBD domain following set coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.
• Develops customization layer using product specific command/API (cmd and python interface).
• Develop MBD templates, models.
• Prepare documentation of new features.
• Create test to cover new features.
• Working knowledge of PyQT.
• Provides technical solutions for the development, design, and systems integration.
• Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.
• Provide Technical inputs in areas of estimation, feasibility, technology, automation, and project implementation
• Optional develop graphical interface using GUI toolkits like QT6, .net/C#

• Post-Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or Computer Science
• Experience with Adams / multi-body dynamics, customization related experience for process development
• Programming experience must for C++/Python/C
• Very good in software development and design with 5+ years of experience in C, C++, Python and CMD.
• Strong OOP concepts
• Strong aptitude
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Ability to quickly grasp complex products to understand the different layers of the product.
• Knowledge of coding guidelines and compliance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Linux Operating system
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Multithreading, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA
