Engineering Lead/Manager - Artificial Intelligence (5-16 yrs)

Position : (Artificial Intelligence) AI- Engineering Lead/Manager

Experience : 5y 16y.

Location : Chennai.

Work Mode : Hybrid - 3 day working from office.

Interview Process : 3 Tech rounds, Fitment round, HR round.

Responsibilities :

a) Design and develop machine learning software solutions for semiconductor device and thin film metrology.

b) Work with both internal and external customers to define requirements for these software solutions.

c) Build machine learning-based software solutions.

d) Optimize algorithms and prototypical solutions for efficient implementation.

e) Design, develop, implement, oversee, and adapt API.

f) Extend prototypes into fully functional, polished solutions ready for internal and/or external use.

g) Implement solutions in Python with TensorFlow.

h) Write comprehensive unit tests and provide technical support during alpha and beta testing.

i) Document the design and implementation of the software solutions, and give presentations both internally and externally regarding the work.

j) Maintain new and existing software solutions throughout the life-cycle of tools.

Requirements :

a) Strong background in machine learning using regression models and TensorFlow framework.

b) Background in software architecture, modern development practices, and design patterns.

c) Background in C++ and/orPython, especially in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.

d) Background in parallel / distributed computing, performance profiling, and memory -optimization.

e) Experience in API development is a plus.

f) Experience in Azure DevOps is a plus.

g) Experience in computational physics and numerical simulations is a plus.

h) Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is a plus.

i) Ability and willingness to travel worldwide to support projects at customer sites is a plus.

Qualifications (Must Have) :

a) 2 Years' experience leading or managing a team of machine learning algorithm engineers.

b) BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science or related computational field with at least 10 years of experience.

OR

MS/ME/MTech in Computer Science or related computational field with at least 8 years of experience

OR

PhD in Computer Science or related computational field with at least 5 years of experience.
