Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of new products, duplication of prototypes or making
• modifications to existing formulas with different degrees of complexity, to ensure aesthetics,
• effectiveness, target cost, stability, and overall quality.
• Stay ahead of trends in the cosmetic fields, build depth of understanding and share new product concept approaches with the team
• Must have good knowledge of all normal laboratory equipment, FTIR,Viscometer, pH Meter, and Moisture Analyzer which must be used to perform the essential functions
• Work on product development producing new formulas/products, and leading scale-up of lab batches to pilot and production sizes
• Manage each project by planning, designing, and small batch trials to evaluate internally
• Write, review, and approve production batch as well as Pilot batch procedures, protocols, and specification
• Work with manufacturing and QC team to help troubleshoot production batches
• Responsible for all steps of formula development from Stability testing/evaluation to full production scale-up
• Interact with Purchase, Stock, Manufacturing, Packing line and QA/QC Department.
• Research of raw materials and vendor management
• Manage the development of multiple products simultaneously and be comfortable in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and as part of a team.
• If needed, have to visit the manufacturing site for Pilot scale up.
• Analysis of Pilot, R & D & Bulk sample, also compatibility with packaging (Primary analysis)
• Any other work as assigned by the company.
