Job Overview

Responsible for end-to-end execution of Forests by Heartfulness plantation projects across

the state. This requires skills pertaining to understanding the plantation design and executing it

end-to-end including site survey, land preparation, irrigation setup, sapling logistics and

planting, nutrient management, and post plantation care.

It is a state-level role and candidates will need to manage 2-3 simultaneous projects within the

state. Will involve traveling and staying at plantation sites.

Qualifications

Genuine interest in working with nature, afforestation, enhancing biodiversity.

Education level: Any Bachelor s degree. A qualification in Forestry, Agriculture, Civil Engg.

will be a plus.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plantation work or civil Engg. Any prior

experience in forestry, ecosystem restoration, integrated watershed management will be a

plus.

Specific skills: Reasonable fluency in English Hindi both verbal written, MS Office skills,

must speak local language of the state.

States where this position is open: Telangana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. More

states will open up in 2025.

Remuneration

The gross compensation for the position is attractive and compares favorably with the

remuneration paid by progressive non-profits in the sector. The offer made to the selected

candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

All travel and accommodation (away from base location) will be reimbursed.
