Job Description

  1. The Academic Coordinator has to be passionate about designing and implementing the educational programs as per NEP NCF for students in Cluster 1 to 4.
  2. The Academic Coordinator will work closely with the faculty members, and students of all the to ensure the effective curriculum development, year planning, lesson planning, implementation of curriculum, progress- report template designing, assessment strategies, assessment planning, academic planning for CWSN and Gifted Talented Students, training and educational initiatives.
  3. The Academic Coordinator also will define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the faculty members, will observe classes to ensure successful implementation of the academic program and design differentiated training programs for the academic team as well as students.
  4. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty to develop and review curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
  5. Instructional Support: Provide guidance and support to teachers in lesson planning, instructional strategies, and differentiation techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
  6. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessment tools and processes to monitor student progress, analyse data, and provide feedback to teachers and stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  7. Professional Development: Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends.
  8. Student Support: Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and support staff to develop and implement interventions and support services for students with diverse learning needs.
  9. Program Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of academic programs, initiatives, and resources to ensure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Result analysis: Analyse the result across all the grades and give feedback to the faculty
  11. Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures and regulations related to academic standards, student conduct, and safety protocols.
  12. Collaborative Leadership: Work collaboratively with school administrators, department heads, and other stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive school culture focused on academic excellence and student success.
  13. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with the school community, including students, parents, and external partners, to support the holistic development of students.
  14. Assisting with recruitment, training, and on boarding of all new staff for Cluster1 2 or 3 4
  15. Planning and goal setting to promote student achievement.
  16. Analyses a wide range of student achievement data to make instructional leadership decisions.
  17. Ensures appropriate use of student services and community support services as needed.
  18. Ensures appropriate integration of technology
  19. Collaboratively establishes a culture that welcomes school and family engagement.

  2. Staff development, including the facilitation of opportunities for professional development,
  3. Facilitation and participation in the development and implementation of teacher professional growth plans, as well as the induction of new staff
  4. Staff supervision and evaluation, including the supervision of staff to ensure effective instruction and student learning, and the evaluation of staff in accordance with school policy and procedure
  5. Encouraging and nurturing prospective school leaders by supporting internal leadership growth and opportunities
