We are seeking a skilled Trainer/Coach Medical Coding (HCC/CDI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in medical coding, with expertise in Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) and ICD 10/CPT guidelines. This role involves training and mentoring coders, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and enhancing overall coding accuracy and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new and existing medical coders in HCC/CDI.
• Develop training materials, modules, and assessments to ensure effective learning.
• Monitor coder performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry standards, coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM), and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address coding discrepancies.
• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure coding compliance and accuracy.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to enhance coder skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in medical coding (HCC/CDI/ICD 10).
• Certification (CPC, CRC, or CCS) from AAPC/AHIMA is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to analyze coding trends and implement improvement strategies.
