Azure Cloud Architect

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect/Developer to assist in deploying, securing, and scaling web and AI-based solutions on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. This is an immediate need for a part-time, hourly position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Configure and manage Azure services, including Azure App Services, VMs, Databases, and AI/ML tools.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or other automation tools for consistent deployments.
• Configure and secure private endpoints, custom domains, and networking to ensure a robust and compliant architecture.
• Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines to automate code deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to optimize solutions for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud-based applications and services.
• Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and reliability are integrated into all solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, with expertise in deploying and scaling web and AI-based applications.
• Proven experience with Azure pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar), and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, private endpoints, custom domains, and related configurations.

• Skills:
• Proficiency in automation scripting and tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, including identity management, encryption, and secure networking practices.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.

• Certifications: Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred but not required.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Type: Part-time, hourly contract position.
