Head - Engineering - Supply Chain/Logistics (15-20 yrs)

The Head of Engineering will lead the engineering and data science teams in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and delivery, to ensure engineering initiatives align with business goals. Your role will involve maintaining a robust and scalable technology infrastructure that supports both current and future product innovations. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping data-driven products by utilizing insights from data science and machine learning.

Requirements:

- 15+ years of experience in SaaS product companies

- Proven track record managing a team of engineers, including senior software developers and engineering managers

- Strong expertise in system design

- Familiarity with design patterns and object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD)

- Proficient in algorithms and data structures

- Expertise in Python or Java

- Knowledge of microservices, containers, and container orchestration

- Solid understanding of cloud computing, preferably Azure

- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB

- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems
