Job Description
- Participate in the arrangement and description of archives
- To liaison with active employees to aid acquisition of materials
- Maintain the repository of material and documents in an organized manner
- Maintain and manage logbooks and records of visitors and the archival documents accessed by them
- Coordinate creation and enhancement of the online catalog of the collection
- Assist in overseeing maintenance of physical and digital drawings and ancillary material
- Assist in any conservation efforts required to maintain the physical collection
- Assist research students and historians in locating and collecting the required data from the archives
- Develop safety procedures and initiatives to manage archival data, documentation and records
- Assist the archivist in any other miscellaneous duties
