Job Description
- We are looking for accounting professionals who must be at least commerce graduates.
- A good understanding of basic accounting principles, an ability to deal with numbers, a disciplined and careful approach to accounting will be useful.
- A good knowledge of spreadsheets will be useful.
- The role will include Finance, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Audit and Reconciliation, Management Accounting, setting up all Accounting Control Systems, Budgeting, Production Accounting.
- Hawkins runs its own Accounting IT systems. A challenging and exciting part of this role will be that you can design your own reports, ratios and systems and are not limited to running an existing legacy software.
- A good understanding of Accounting standards and the ability to deal with internal and external auditors is required. Cost Accountants and Chartered Accountants may start appropriately higher, based upon their performance in the written test and interview.
