Required Exp Professional in Prod. Engineering/Continuous Improvement

Role & responsibilities

• leading and overseeing continuous improvement initiatives within production processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, manpower reduction, cost reductions and efficiency enhancements in the production lines.
• Ensuring the production systems and operational processes are optimized for maximum efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and sustain key lean tools such as value stream mapping, time-motion study, 5S, Kaizen

       events, SMED and root cause analysis, bottleneck analysis, PDCA, Poka-Yoke, Standardization,

       Waste reduction, Quality Circle etc.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, maintenance and supply chain, to drive improvements, implement lean methodologies and ensure the successful delivery of products.
• Identify recurring problems and develop long-term solutions to ensure consistent performance and reliability of production process.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement solutions to reduce cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks and optimize workflow.
• Ensure that improvement projects are completed on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop a culture of teamwork, accountability and innovation across the production and engineering team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engg. /Industrial Engg. /Mechatronics Engg.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Self-Motivated, Professional and Diligent working Style.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Proven experience in a production engineering or continuous improvement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment in medical devices. Familiarity with Low-cost automation, fixtures, robotics or advanced manufacturing technologies. Deep understanding & knowledge of lean manufacturing, production engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.
