Job Summary:
The role involves providing high-quality medical care to patients in a specialized field, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. The medical professional will actively participate in patient consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and procedures, while also contributing to training, research, and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:

1. Perform patient consultations, clinical assessments, and diagnosis for complex cases in the specialty area.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
3. Perform specialized procedures or surgeries as per medical protocols and patient needs.
4. Provide post-operative or post-treatment follow-up care to ensure patient recovery and satisfaction.

Clinical Excellence:

1. Maintain an evidence-based approach to treatment and remain updated with advancements in the specialty field.
2. Collaborate with other specialties and departments for multidisciplinary care when required.
3. Ensure strict adherence to patient safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and quality assurance measures.

Training & Mentorship:

1. Mentor and train junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff within the department.
2. Conduct and participate in Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs and departmental meetings.

Research & Development:

1. Contribute to clinical research and trials, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
2. Participate in conferences and seminars to represent the hospital and advance knowledge in the field.

Administrative Duties:

1. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per hospital policies and legal requirements.
2. Support the hospital management in developing and implementing clinical policies and protocols.
3. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Requirements: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh in [Specialty Name].
2. Experience:
• Years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Exposure to advanced medical technologies and procedures in the specialty field is preferred.
