Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior React Native Software Engineer to contribute to building our cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of React Native, mobile development best practices, and experience with delivering high-quality, performant, and scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define mobile application requirements and deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and actively participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
• Architect mobile applications with performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
• Implement responsive and adaptive user interfaces with great attention to detail and usability.
• Debug and resolve performance issues, memory leaks, and other mobile-specific challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in mobile development, React Native, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
• Lead the integration of third-party libraries, APIs, and native modules as needed.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing the delivery of features on time.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and ensure the team adheres to high engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4-6 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong expertise in React Native for building cross-platform mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with native mobile development using Swift (iOS) or Java/Kotlin (Android).
• Strong knowledge of mobile development patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Redux for state management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with native modules and bridging React Native with native code (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with mobile development tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and debugging tools.
• Understanding of mobile-specific challenges such as performance optimization, memory management, and handling device-specific features (camera, sensors, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for mobile applications and version control systems like Git.
• Strong experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging mobile applications using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Detox.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with native iOS or Android development.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and integrating it into React Native projects.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for mobile apps.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play deployment processes.
• Experience in leading projects or mentoring junior developers.
• Understanding of serverless architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase), or related technologies.
