Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Team Leader with experience in FinTech to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge financial solutions while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The role requires a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in financial technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers, engineers, and other technical staff in designing and building FinTech solutions.
• Oversee software architecture, development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and regulatory teams to align technology with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Advocate for Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Mentor, guide, and provide technical direction to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in FinTech and software development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial technologies, payment systems, blockchain, banking APIs, and digital wallets.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong background in security protocols, encryption, and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR, AML/KYC).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI/ML applications in FinTech and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience working with third-party financial services and APIs (Plaid, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
