HMV Engineering is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Training and Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, the Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the administration, coordination, and execution of training programs. This position is integral to ensuring the continuous professional development and compliance of our global workforce. The Training and Development Coordinator will assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs covering our Bangalore offices. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training initiatives meet the businesss needs and comply with relevant regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Administration:
Maintain and update employee training records in the internal Training Software.
Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, including venue arrangements, equipment setup, and materials preparation.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of training materials for various programs.
Support Training Programs:
Work closely with the Training and Development Manager to identify training needs and gaps.
Support the implementation of the Apprentice Training Program, including registration, scheduling, and monitoring progress.
Coordinate with internal departments to roll out training initiatives and ensure they align with business goals.
Compliance and Accreditation:
Ensure training programs comply with regional regulations, HMV Engineering training procedures, and industry best practices.
Assist in maintaining City Guilds and GWO accreditation, ensuring adherence to standards.
Support the preparation for internal and external audits related to training compliance.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure accurate data storage and protection of employee training records in line with GDPR requirements.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on training activities, outcomes, and metrics.
Maintain the company library of training policies and procedures.
Communication and Coordination:
Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to training and development.
Coordinate support meetings for line managers to address training concerns or issues.
Facilitate effective communication between the training department and other business units.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree or a related field.
2+ years of experience in training coordination or a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
High level of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint is advantageous.
Dependable team player with a passion for continuous learning and development.
