Sustainability Data Analyst

About the Role:
As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the company s sustainability initiatives. You will work closely with the Sustainability Team to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting software, helping the business transition towards more sustainable practices. You will help measure and track the impact of our ESG objectives, with a focus on reducing our carbon footprint using data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• ESG Platform Implementation: Assist in the successful implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Sustainability Manager, ensuring that it is seamlessly integrated with the company s ESG strategies and goals.
• Data Management Analysis: Leverage your strong data analysis skills to manage, interpret, and visualise sustainability and carbon data using Power BI and PowerApps. You will provide actionable insights that support decision-making and help guide the company towards its sustainability targets.
• Carbon Data Expertise: Apply your knowledge of carbon accounting and sustainability metrics to track, report, and reduce the company s carbon footprint. Your work will directly contribute to the organisation s broader sustainability goals.
• Compliance Standards: Ensure compliance with Indian and global sustainability standards, regulations, and certifications, such as GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Analytics, Sustainability, Data Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role, preferably with a focus on sustainability or ESG metrics.

Skills Competencies:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft systems (essential).
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and emissions standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) is preferred.
• Strong passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive environmental impact.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Highly organised, practical, and able to take initiative.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
