Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet product demand and quality standards.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely achievement.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high product standards.
• Collaborate with the QA team to address product quality issues and corrective actions.

3. Maintenance and Safety:

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with industry safety regulations.

4. Resource Management:

• Manage manpower planning, deployment, and performance evaluation.
• Optimize raw material usage and minimize production costs.

5. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

• Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams for timely availability of raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and control wastage.

6. Cost Control and Budgeting:

• Prepare and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives.

7. Process Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
• Introduce new technologies and automation to enhance productivity.

8. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and industry standards.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
