Role & responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the academic and administrative functions of the University Institute of Law.
• Design, implement, and monitor high-quality legal education programs in compliance with UGC/BCI guidelines.
• Monitor curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and evaluation processes.
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance reviews to ensure academic excellence.
• Drive research initiatives and encourage faculty and student publications in reputed journals.
• Collaborate with industry, legal organizations, and government bodies for partnerships, internships, and placements.
• Represent the Institute in national and international academic forums and conferences.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Manage resources, and strategic planning for Institute and University growth.
• Organize academic events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance the Institute's visibility.

Preferred candidate profile

• Familiarity with Bar Council of Indias rules and guidelines for legal education, including program structures and academic standards.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve UGC/NAAC compliance and accreditation for academic programs.
• Proven ability to manage faculty development, student placements, and academic collaborations.
