Job Overview : We are looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs for a variety of mediums, including digital, and social media. You will collaborate with marketing teams, content team and clients to create designs that reflect our brand's identity and support business objectives.

Role & responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• To direct, shoot and edit videos on news and happenings of the industry.
• To be involved in the conceptualizing of the videos right from the script writing stage.
• This will require preparing motion graphics in some videos.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• The candidate should be able to understand the concept fast and suggest relevant video styles and improvements.
• To be able to work with junior video editors to get the rough and final cuts made in a timely manner.
• Direct the anchor to ensure their movements and anchoring are as authentic as possible and share advice where necessary.
• Should be proficient and comfortable in image editing as work on preparing cover images for articles, social media, & website will be required on a daily basis.
• MUST be fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred candidate profile

• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and After Effects (primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects).
• Alternatives to these that can get the production work done without affecting quality are fine as well.
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of motion graphics.
• Working knowledge of cinematography.
• Must be willing to work under pressure as most projects will require extremely fast turnaround and strict deadlines.
• Past experience/ interest in script writing to improve the quality of the video will be an added bonus.
• The position entails working long hours at times of outdoor events and also encompasses travel.
