Position Summary:
A brand manager is responsible for developing and implementing a brand strategy that sets a brand apart from its competitors and builds a long-term relationship and fosters loyalty with customers. A brand manager is responsible for overseeing any aspect of marketing related to a company's brand and ensuring that all branding decisions ultimately result in stronger sales and brand stickiness/recall. They work on brand strategy, market research, content marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, and design.
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Owning the brand voice and brand speak at global level.
2. Working on brand growth through the right strategies and plans for brand reputation monitoring.
3. Achieve long-term organizational goals through planning and implementing marketing initiatives.
4. Build brand awareness and propel the company towards its mission and vision.
5. Conducting consumer research and analyzing data for trends, and insights to improve brand salience.
6. Advising multiple teams on branding strategy and messaging/comms.
7. Communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment.
8. Managing projects through various stages of development e.g. launches, repositioning, seasonal/thematic campaigns.
9. Managing budgets to support branding efforts.
10. Maintaining relationships with company stakeholders and external stakeholders e.g. agencies, vendors etc.
11. KPI's: Brand awareness (TOMA), Brand equity, Customer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT), and Market share.
12. Candidates with experience in the US Market are preferred.
Qualification:
MBA or equivalent from an institute of repute
Work Experience & Competencies:
1. 6-10 years of experience.
2. Have managed content development for the US audience is a must.
3. Should excel in market research.
4. Consumer insights
5. Digital marketing.
6. Cultural awareness.
7. Strategic planning to enhance brand visibility and loyalty.
