Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as SPOC for the Architecture/Solution for end-to-end ecommerce ecosystem
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy for our applications involved in e-commerce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Define and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and standards that support scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the adoption of new technologies like AI, machine learning, and personalization engines
• Communicate architectural strategies and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in
• Ensure the e-commerce architecture supports high availability, performance, and scalability to meet business demands, especially during peak shopping periods
• Implement best practices for security and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Establish and enforce governance processes for architectural changes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards
• Participate in scoping, estimating efforts etc.
• Contribute to white papers, blogs
• Contribute to Pres-Sales Activities

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of experience WMS (like Manhattan WMS, Blue Yonder etc.) and Java / J2EE, JavaScript, Velocity.
• Experience in Manhattan WMS is mandatory
• Lead the implementation of Manhattan WMS modules, configuring them to support various warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Customize the WMS to accommodate specific business rules, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
• Strong knowledge on WMS inbound/outbound processes
• Strong understanding on Manhattan WMS integration with other systems like ERP/MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/ProShip
• Experience on Manhattan Active & Proactive tool is added advantage.
• Experience in web services (REST & SOAP)
• Very strong experience in designing medium to large enterprise applications
• Should have knowledge on messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, Rabbit MQ, JMS etc.),
• Exposure to Authentication, Authorization, SSO using JWT, OAuth, SAML is required.
• Experience in Pre-Sales - defining end to end solution architecture covering technical, deployment architectures and non-functional & performance aspects and drive proposals
• Experience in Retail - Ecommerce domain is required
• Experience in code refactoring and performance tuning of application
• Very strong implementation experience using Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, and clean code principles
• Should have client facing experience and having worked in matrix organization & onsite-offshore model
• Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use-case, FP, Story points).
• Experience in creating presentations, demos to customers and internal management team.
• Experience in Agile execution methodology is mandatory
• Should have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in Practice related Activities like Develop POC, Accelerators development, Tools/Framework/Platform evaluation, contribution to Marketing collaterals.
