GSPANN - Senior Software Engineer - Java (5-14 yrs)

Role and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, implement, and document test changes in microservices-based applications.

- Initiate design reviews for new applications while adhering to the software development standards.

- Perform cross-functional training and facilitate information sharing among the team members.

- Recommend new software development technologies and development processes.

- Perform unit testing on all application functionalities along with supporting integration and load testing activities.

- Collaborate with the team members to ensure that the deliverables are on schedule.

- Participate in requirement gathering and functional specification activities.

- Assist System Analysts in translating business requirements and functional designs into technical designs.

- Resolve and mitigate production application issues.

Required Skills :

- 2+ years of experience in Spring Boot, Kafka and microservices.

- Experience in Python is required.

- Proficiency in AWS : API Gateway Lambda S3 SQS SNS Cloudwatch

- Experience with Java 8 and above.

- Proficient in SQL/NoSQL and worked on query optimizations..

- Competence in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab.

- Experience with version control systems like Git, and project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.

- Agile methodology practice and an attitude geared towards taking responsibility and delivering on time.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Experience with eCommerce or retail customers is a plus
