Job Description
We have an immediate opening for the right individual to join our fast-growing Structural Engineering Services Group in our Pune, India office in the role of Structural Design Engineer - Steel.
The selected candidate shall be required to work on structural engineering assignments for a variety of engineering projects in US.
- Responsibilities shall include coordination with Senior engineers / PMs / technical modelers in the Pune office .
- Technical specialization and personal initiative are pluses. Position responsibilities and requirements will include:
- Design and analysis of different residential, commercial and industrial structures
- Conceptualization, design and documentation of engineering design; including solving problems of medium complexity.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE , AISC)
- Proven expertise and proficiency in MBS, RISA, Tekla Tedds software to effectively create and manipulate complex design elements.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in working with Cold Form Steel (CFS), Pre-engineered buildings (PEB), Light Gauge Steel (LGS), Miscellaneous Steel & Timber.
Requirements- Relevant Bachelors or Masters Degree
A minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in US Projects (Mandatory) in structural design, preferably within the architectural, engineering, or construction industry.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead a team effectively and collaborate with internal teams and clients.
