Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with experience in JavaScript and Cypress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, ensuring high-quality software delivery in alignment with industry standards. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify issues and ensure the product meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications.
• Automate tests using Cypress and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement testing strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with industry best practices, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks and continuous integration processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for automation testing.
• Experience in creating and maintaining detailed test cases.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
