Job Description
- Achieve top-line market share and bottom line for assigned therapy/Brands
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for therapy segment/ brands
- Analysis of market using primary and secondary data for the assigned brands segments, for both internal as well as competitor products
- Monitor ROI on brand strategies
- Undertake market research to analyse the market/ customer behaviour
- Train the new field staff on the disease/products, the promo material usage. Conduct refresher courses periodically. Guidance on customer identification/profiling
- Support the field staff on field communication, doctor objections, and queries, handle competitor claims, and manage Key Opinion Leaders
- Effective co-ordination with other functional areas at affiliate and regional level e,g Sales, AMI, Medical, Training, BE, supply chain, HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance etc.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies
- Demonstrated strong leadership, problem solving, and team building skills/experience
- Exposure and experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical /Medical Devices
- Influencing and communication skills (Strong presentation skills)
- Strong business acumen
- Results driven with strong analytical capability and process orientation
- Self-starter able to operate effectively within a matrix organization
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate brand team, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support.
- Strong strategic mindset to develop and execute product strategies that align with the companys overall vision and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and making informed decisions to drive product success.
- To be adaptable and flexible to navigate changes and uncertainties. This includes being open to new ideas, embracing feedback, and adjusting strategies and plans as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master s degree in business/ marketing and bachelor s degree (in science or such as B.SC, B Tech, B. Pharm etc.)
- Minimum of 9 to 10 years of experience in Pharma / FMCG/Medical Device
