Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Network Management: Manage and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches) to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted connectivity across systems.
User Support: Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of user support requests.
Security: Implement, monitor, and manage security measures to protect systems, networks, and sensitive data from both internal and external threats.
Backup & Recovery: Perform regular backups and ensure an effective disaster recovery plan is in place to minimize system downtime during data loss or system failure.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system and network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for better efficiency and overall performance.
Skills:
Proven experience in system administration (Windows, Linux, or both).
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with security protocols, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Any Graduate or Post Graduate.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies would be an advantage.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with regular working hours.
Occasional after-hours support may be required based on business needs.
