Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer!
What you ll do:
The purpose of this role will be to lead the Software Test efforts in collaboration with the U.S. and offshore teams. Lead the test automation development and add scripts to the regression suite. You will code, implement and enhance QA s existing frameworks, mentor QA engineers, work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery and automation of features. You will be part of a great team that is going through some really exciting growth and innovation.
Our software platform is built on Java and JUnit, using industry best practices and OO design patterns with high quality standards. Maintaining the highest level of quality is critical for our organization s growth. The test automation platform is built on Selenium Cucumber framework utilizing Java for webUI and RestAssured for API. An ideal candidate for this role will have software development experience in Java, Selenium and Postman. As well as a strong interest in test automation and improving internal tools.
What We re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years experience in automated testing of distributed systems, preferably in a SaaS environment using Agile methodology.
- 4+ years of test automation using Selenium and Java.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Excellent understanding on QA concepts and track record on implementing QA process improvement activities
- Good understanding on Agile QA practices
- 4+ years experience in REST API automation.
- 3+ years of stress/load/performance testing of web applications and monitoring tool like dynatrace.
- 3+ years utilizing SQL, with ability to write and analyze complex queries.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and knowledge on AWS.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with industry standard CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, SonarCloud, TeamCity, and Bitbucket pipelines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Committed to security practices in policy and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in Mobile Automation.
- 1+ years experience using Jira X-Ray.
- Some experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace
- Communicate effectively with Development, Technical Project and Product Management teams on product issues, major and patch releases, quality milestones and feature development
