Senior Mobile Engineer, Android

Technologies we use on the team:

• Frontend: Kotlin + Compose for Android, SwiftUI for iOS
• Backend: Node.js & Kotlin
• REST, graphQL
• CI/CD - Bitrise and GitHub Actions
• Fastlane
• MySQL, DynamoDB

What you will be doing:

• You will be involved in full-cycle development of Greenlight s Android app
• Design and develop mobile SDK frameworks or common libraries
• Focus on Modularization, Reliability and Reusability
• Redesign a lot of the client experiences on the consumer app in a new and refreshed way using Kotlin and Compose
• Ensure performance, code quality, testing, and stability of the application
• Write your own Unit and Functional tests
• Collaborate with various members of the engineering team to build new features at scale
• Work across the product and engineering teams to define functional specs and designs for initiatives
• Improve engineering tooling, process, and standards to enable faster, more consistent, more reliable, and highly repeatable application delivery
• Participate in the on-call process to ensure that our families have a great experience

What you should bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in Kotlin is a MUST
• 5+ years of solid Android experience
• Experience building UI with Jetpack Compose is a plus
• Experience building quality apps
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Distribution of mobile applications
• A passion for building reusable solutions
• A collaborative, positive, inclusive and team-oriented attitude
• A desire to learn and master new technologies
