Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis in Tally / ERP
• General Ledger Management
• Compliance and Internal Controls
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance
• Team Leadership and Development

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handling of Cash and Bank Book on daily basis with BRS statement.
• Preparation of GST invoices in Tally
• Preparation of TDS statement and remittance to Department on monthly basis and filing of ETDS on quarterly basis with the support of Head Office.
• Preparation of GST R1 and GST R 38 and coordinate with HO for filing the returns and GST Payments
• Monthly reconciliation with Head Office Books of Accounts
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP or other relevant accounting standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Supervise AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Assist in credit evaluations and managing cash flow to optimize working capital.
• Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support.
