IIoT ServiceNow Developer

Role & responsibilities

This role will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business intelligence developers within the

Industry4.0 and larger Manufacturing team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and Customize ServiceNow Applications:
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of

Industry 4.0 projects.

• Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
• Workflow and Process Automation:
• Create and manage workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency
• Configure out-of-the-box workflows and develop custom workflows as needed
• Integration with Other Systems:
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications using APIs and web services
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between ServiceNow and other platforms
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Manage the ServiceNow data model, including tables, fields, and relationships
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications and integrations
• Resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of ServiceNow solutions
• Create and maintain high quality documentation of all the work
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other

developers

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that

meet their needs

• Continuous Improvement and Learning:
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ServiceNow and Industry 4.0 technologies
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge to enhance the quality and efficiency of ServiceNow

Engage in PoC (proof-of-concepts) to continuously seek for value delivery to business

Preferred candidate profile

Essential:

• ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
• Data Model: Understanding the structure of data stored and processed by ServiceNow, including

tables, fields, and relationships.

• Workflows: Familiarity with the workflow engine, including creating and customizing workflows.
• Development Best Practices: Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and writing efficient,

scalable code.

• Programming and Scripting:
• JavaScript: Essential for customizing the ServiceNow platform.
• Web Development: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frameworks like AngularJS.
• Integration Skills:
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the platform.
• Industry 4.0 Knowledge:
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts such as IoT, automation, and smart manufacturing.
• Implementation experience of DevSecOps pipeline for the automations
• ServiceNow Developer certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders Adept at documentation and training material preparation for end user consumption Desirable:
• Advanced ServiceNow Modules: • Experience with ServiceNow modules relevant to Industry 4.0, such as IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Asset Management.
• Project Management: • Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Continuous Learning: • Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in ServiceNow and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Additional Programming Languages: • Knowledge of other programming languages like Python or Java.
• Working experience in Realtime Data Ingestion scenarios
• Ability to work successfully within a global and cross-functional team
