Role Overview: We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented freshers with a strong academic background in computer science or related fields to join our team as Junior Database Administrators. The selected candidates will work alongside experienced DBAs to manage, maintain, and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS).
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restorations, and updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and optimize database schemas.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and availability in compliance with company policies.
• Support database recovery plans and execute disaster recovery procedures.
• Document database procedures and guidelines for future reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with excellent academic performance.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with any DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server is a plus.
• Certification in database technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle Certified Associate) is an advantage.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
