M& E Manager

Role & responsibilities

Supervisory experience in leading study designs, data collection, survey research, and development of frameworks,

methodologies, and analytical tools for evaluation and knowledge management.

• Oversee, evaluate, and provide feedback and valuable insights to the deliverables of the survey research agency

responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting of the baseline, midline, and endline surveys.

• Working in tandem with project staff to hold regular meetings with project resources and the survey agency and

ensure that the M&E activities are moving in the right direction and within the project timeline.

• Write reports on the survey findings, help and advise in data visualization of the survey findings, and present the

findings in front of external and internal teams.

• Ensure that all evaluations meet the standards for quality and rigor.
• Ensure that data is collected regularly and accurately to track progress and timely delivery.
• Travel to project data collection sites to supervise data collection process as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

The Consultant should have skills and strong understanding of study design and implementation of a

comprehensive M&E framework for the projects interventions, ensuring alignment with project goals and

objectives.

• Should have strong data collection & analytical skills and ability to develop data collection tools, oversee

field data collection, ensure data quality, and analyze data to generate reports and insights.

• Should be skilled in preparing regular M&E reports, including project progress updates, lessons learned,

and recommendations for improvement, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Knowledge of quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS/STATA/R is required.
• Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software such as ATLAS.ti/NVivo is preferred.
