Data Engineer - Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (3-7 yrs)

We are seeking a Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning and AI product development. Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, you will collaborate with the data science lead and stakeholders to create scalable data-driven solutions and models. You'll play a pivotal role in advancing our automation and AI roadmap, contributing to front-end and back-end product enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, evaluate, and deploy models using conventional ML techniques and advanced methods like Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Collaborate with the data engineering team to produce compliant data assets aligned with data lake governance.

- Support app product development with GitHub-managed development tickets.

- Translate complex findings and results into actionable insights for stakeholders.

- Promote best practices and establish standardized, effective workflows for improved team efficiency.

- Provide statistical analysis, data mining, and visualization expertise to the team.

- Build knowledge in financial services product domains, focusing on functional and platform-specific data applications.

- Stay updated on the latest developments in AI and Machine Learning and adapt to technological advancements.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Machine Learning libraries. PySpark and Databricks knowledge is advantageous.

- Familiarity with Azure app services is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Azure DevOps or GitHub.

- Deep understanding of ML algorithms, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques.

- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

- Strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a quality-conscious mindset.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively present results to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proactive team player with the ability to manage deadlines and expectations efficiently.
