Job Summary
We are seeking an SEO Intern with a strong understanding of on-page SEO, WordPress,
off-page SEO, link building, and basic content writing. The ideal candidate is eager to
learn, detail-oriented, and ready to apply their skills to real-world projects. This role
offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEO and digital
marketing while working with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page SEO:
1. Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for search
engines.
2. Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices.
3. Ensure proper internal linking and image optimization.
WordPress Management:
1. Update and maintain WordPress websites, including plugins, themes, and
content.
2. Implement SEO-friendly structures and ensure website performance.
3. Troubleshoot basic WordPress issues.
Off-Page SEO and Link Building:
1. Assist in building high-quality backlinks through outreach and
partnerships.
2. Monitor and analyze backlinks using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or
Moz.
3. Identify opportunities for guest posting and directory submissions.
Content Writing:
1. Write and optimize basic blog posts, articles, and website content.
2. Ensure content is SEO-friendly, engaging, and aligned with target
keywords.
3. Proofread and edit content for clarity and accuracy.
5. SEO Audits and Reporting:
1. Conduct website audits to identify SEO issues and recommend
improvements.
2. Track and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google
Analytics and Search Console.
3. Assist in preparing monthly SEO performance reports.
Research and Learning:
1. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices.
2. Research competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
