Cloud & Infrastructure Manager (Senior)

• Handle the daily Cloud & on-prem Operations of GoldenSource clients
• This
  position is accountable for development of processes to manage operations,
  assist in developing technical standards, architecture and employee
  development
• The ideal individual will apply proven communication, automation,
  analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT
  system investments
• The role will collaborate with production, implementation,
  performance team, vendor/service providers and clients to support an
  operational environment for new and existing services supported by
  infrastructure team

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of managing
Cloud Services including system setup, system administration, monitoring,
incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management,
service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning,
availability management, disaster recovery, software deployment and upgrades
and routine update of services.

- Ensure timely liaison with vendors for patching, fixes,
enhancements, and resolving problems

- Ensures/promotes Security guidelines accomplishment (Change
Management)

- Work on creating, running and maintaining the application support
platform, including alert standardization

- Drive capacity and availability management initiative

- Assist in deployment automation that eventually leads to CI/CD

- Perform mission critical activities like disaster recovery,
audits/review, incident reviews, etc.

- Follow-up and coordinate with various internal teams and customers

- Mentor and help the team to grow by applying DevOps, CloudOps & SRE
principle

- Ensuring the daily status and follow-up w.r.t. to support issues to
avoid any slippages

- Work as a liaison or account manager for GoldenSource customers

Required Technical Knowledge / Skills

- Six years or more of IT Service Management, data center, server, and
storage management, virtualization, Citrix, networking, systems management,
and/or project management. Candidate should ve worked in large complex
enterprise-wide infrastructure projects/programs with multiple interfaces
and/or 3rd parties. Desirable to have someone from a IT product or consulting
firm supporting cloud infrastructure

- Standard Infrastructure Experience: Monitoring, DNS, DHCP, Backups,
and Disaster Recovery

- Hands-on with DevOps & CloudOps stack and tooling, including
automation

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, logical skills and a strong team
player

- Interpersonal Skills

Strong Organizational and Communication skills

Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and
outside the organization

- Cloud methodologies

Proficient in SaaS, PaaS, Agile, AWS services

Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) -
architecture, maintenance, and automation of auto-scaling

Strong experience on DevOps stack including orchestration tools like Chef,
CI/CD/CM server like Jenkins/Bamboo, automation tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef,
Collaboration tools like Jira, Repo like Github

Proficiency in docker containers

Good hold on continuous monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Nagios,
Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Sumologic, ELK, etc.

Basic understanding of Big Data (Hadoop and HBase etc.)

- Unix/Linux platform

Advance level of understanding and troubleshooting skills including
file/disk/process/network management

Hands-on experience of shell scripting for automations purposes

- Oracle

Hands-on experience in interpreting and writing SQL queries

Good understanding of performance issues related points e.g. query
optimization / execution plan / AWR / ASH reports

Education / Certification / Experience

- Bachelor Degree in computers is preferred, from a recognized
university

- Relevant DevOps Certification (Desired)

- ITIL / Process Understanding (Desired)

- AWS certification (Mandatory)
