About the Role As an Airline Contracting Manager, you are at the centre of the action of MakeMyTrips dynamic myPartner Team. You will be responsible for engaging and contracting with airline carriers and aggregators for the flights business. You must have extensive experience in managing end-to-end partner relationships, and have the ability to maximise revenue from the airlines for the team. You will be involved in negotiating incentives and marketing deals, ensuring on-time payment recovery, managing post sales operations and building a strategic partnership with the airline carriers.


What will you be doing

  • Manage large & small Domestic and International airline carriers.
  • Negotiate commissions and incentive deals, ensure on-time payment recovery, manage post sales operations and drive end-to-end flights supply execution.
  • Ensure rate competitiveness across multiple available platform.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities from airlines on the back of market analysis, competitive landscape & campaign performances.
  • Strategize in order to promote the airline in a better way. Provide product feedback to the airlines to help them understand needs of their customers and at the same time grow their business.

Qualification & Experience

  • Masters degree from a reputed institute with 4-7 years of experience in sales/Travel Trade/ Key Account Management/ Contracting/B2B Sales.
  • Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power-point.

Key Success Factors for the Role

  • Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
  • High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential.
