Mis Lead

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reporting & MIS Lead to oversee and manage reporting and data-related functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and hands-on knowledge of report development with proven experience in task management and resolving reporting issues. This role requires leading a small team, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of reports, and handling ad-hoc data requests.

Role

• Manage the end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, transformation, and presentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting bugs/issues promptly.
• Lead a team of analysts responsible for developing and maintaining MIS reports and dashboards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of data insights.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction and analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
• Prioritize and manage tasks within the team to meet reporting deadlines and ad-hoc requests.
• Continuously improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and automation.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, quant or related field but not mandatory).
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in reporting, MIS, and data analysis

Essential skills

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data.
• Strong experience in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to fix issues related to data and reports
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with functional leads.
• Prior experience of working in BFSI/NBFC/Lending industry is plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements is plus.
