Role Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all piling and foundation-related activities from design to execution for our real estate projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and timeline requirements. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mind-set to optimize project outcomes and align with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient piling operations across projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to align piling activities with overall construction timelines and budgets.
• Provide expert guidance on piling methods, soil mechanics, and foundation systems.
• Oversee the selection and deployment of appropriate piling equipment and techniques, including bored, driven, and sheet piling.
• Resolve complex technical issues and challenges related to piling and ground conditions.
• Plan, monitor, and control all piling activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety/quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and site personnel involved in piling operations.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to senior management.

Who are we looking for?

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in piling and foundation construction, preferably in the building construction projects/real estate sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of piling techniques, soil testing, and geotechnical engineering principles.

Skills:

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering and project management software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
