Oracle Database Administrator

Roles & Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience with oracle 11g, 12c & 19c databases.
Responsible for installing the oracle software, creating the database and upgrading the database.
Experience in maintaining Oracle databases running on LINUX and Windows.
Knowledge of Oracle networking and configuration.
Working knowledge in start/stop ASM/databases.
Handling the creation of users, profiles, assigning roles & revoking like assign to grants, privileges, Roles etc.
Created and managed table spaces, data files and temp files.
Managing undo table spaces, temporary table spaces, and redo log groups.
Responsible for monitoring of Archive log Backups, file system space usage and troubleshooting the backups issues.
Clearing files & freeing space on Server.
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases for large-scale applications.
Perform database administration tasks such as backup/restore, recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
Configure and manage RAC environments with multiple instances of Oracle Database software.
Troubleshoot complex database issues using various tools like SQL Developer, Enterprise Manager, etc.
Collaborate with development teams to design data models and optimize database schema.
Ensure high availability of databases by implementing Oracle RAC clusters and performing regular maintenance tasks such as patching, backups, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with development teams to design scalable database architectures that meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot issues related to database performance, security, and compliance.
