Leather Bag designer

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and design stylish, functional, and market-driven leather bags.

Create sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings using software like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or CAD.

Select and source appropriate leather materials, hardware, and embellishments.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.

Stay updated on trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis.

Develop technical specifications and work closely with manufacturers to ensure precise execution.

Participate in sampling, prototyping, and testing to refine designs.

Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of experience in designing leather goods, preferably handbags.

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Leather Design, or Product Design.

Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, or similar tools).

Strong understanding of leather types, stitching techniques, and hardware selection.

Ability to blend creativity with practicality for market-ready designs.

Excellent attention to detail and trend awareness.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with production and marketing teams.
