Job Description
Job title - Senior Analyst Accounting
About GlobalFoundries
Introduction:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing Finance team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of accounting, month close activities and auditing, including statutory audits, internal financial controls, Internal audit, Transfer pricing audit, and intercompany reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of General Ledger activities and month close activities in accordance with close calendar. Must be familiar with closure process in an ERP Environment - Preferably Oracle R12 and SAP
- Revenue calculation and postings as per Transfer Pricing Provisions
- Preparation of Financials on a quarterly basis for MIS reporting
- Support statutory audits, including Co-ordination with the Stakeholders, data collection, Liaise with Statutory Auditors and preparation of schedules to Financial Statements.
- Support Internal Controls over financial reporting study, including Co-ordination with the Stakeholders, data collection and Liaise with the Auditors.
- Support Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer pricing audit and GST Audit in gathering the relevant information and preparation of documents.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing audit findings and recommendations.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Filing of various forms with STPI for Non-STPI compliance
- Compliance with FEMA regulations for realization of Export Bills, Generation of EBRC from DFGT portal and Renewal of LEI
- Providing inputs for filing of various forms with MCA, RBI
- Generation of E-invoices in the GST portal for IC billing
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters / bachelor s degree in accounting or CA Inter
- He/ She should have sound technical accounting skills
- Oracle R12 ERP or SAP working knowledge is plus
- 3-4 years of experience in month close process, Audits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
