Job Description
- Acquire and manage the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
- Advise senior management (e.g., Chief Information security Officer/CTO [CISO]) on risk levels and security posture.
- Advise senior management (e.g., CISO/CTO) on cost/benefit analysis of information security programs, policies, processes, systems, and elements.
- Communicate the value of information technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the enterprise continuity of operations program, strategy, and mission assurance.
- Ensure that cyber security inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment.
- Participate in Risk Governance process to provide security risks, mitigations, and input on other technical risk.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cyber security and privacy.
- Knowledge of cyber security and privacy principles.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of cyber security and privacy principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data.
- Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards.
- Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standards.
- Knowledge of Personal Health Information (PHI) data security standards.
- Knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP).
- Work hand in hand with key stakeholders in the development and maintenance of processes and procedures to maintain compliance with Astics policies and guidelines, as well as applicable privacy and data protection laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Provide privacy-related guidance and support for the business and corporate functions for inquiries, incidents, and privacy risk/impact assessments, including Data Protection Impact Assessments.
- Design and conduct audits, analyze results, draft and deliver reports on audit results, provide recommendations for process and policy improvements
- Document the personal data processing activities conducted by the businesses and staff functions and participate in new product, initiative or function due diligence risk management processes to ensure they address data protection and privacy issues
- Develop and administer any regional or country-level privacy policies and standards.
- Assist with the vendor privacy and security risk management process, including conducting and reviewing vendor due diligence, supporting in the contracting process and assisting and monitoring the vendor's on-going compliance with the business owners.
- Coordinate with compliance organizations in the parent corporation.
- Support fellow members of the Legal Department on global legal/privacy projects.
- Overall accountability for maintaining PCI DSS compliance
- Defining a charter for a PCI DSS compliance program and communication to executive management
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with key components of Cyber Security including (but not limited to):
- Cyber Strategy & Governance, Cyber Transformation and co-sourcing, Cyber Cost Optimization, Cyber Operating Model
- Regulations/standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR, CCPA, FISMA/FEDRAMP, COBIT, OWASP Top 10, NIST 800-53
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Application security, Network security, Cloud Security
- Vendor Risk Management/Supplier Security
- Ability to guide teams through the design and implementation of cyber security solutions that reduce vulnerability, strengthen controls and optimize organizational efficiency
- In depth knowledge of general security concepts, such as defense-in-depth, least privilege, security architecture and design, threat modeling, etc
- Develops budget, scope and staffing recommendations based on understanding of client budget and project economics
