API Developer

• Java 8 (or above), Spring Framework including Spring Boot - Proficient skills in Java, Spring Framework, Web Service, JSON, RAML
• API and service based applications using REST and SOAP, micro-services and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications
• Databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of AWS is added advantage
• Experience in working with API management platform (e.g. Mule gateway, Zookeeper)
• Extensive exposure to API development using a range of different development tools, with experience designing and implementing APIs (REST, JSON).
• API implementation experience on Spring Boot

Working experience on -

o CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Splunk

o Project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

o Agile methodologies Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

Other/General -

o Analytical thinking, ability to build working solutions from design and requirements

o Must be ready to code, debug and troubleshoot

o Experience in working with multiple teams

o Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and with other teams
