Job Title : Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Reports to : Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.

Industry : Conglomerate (Client operations in 15+ industry sectors).

Location : Mumbai / Singapore.

Role Description :

- Responsible for constantly evaluating new, potentially disruptive technologies that are surfacing, to grasp both the dangers and opportunities they pose for the organization, and to see and act across the company to help formulate and execute a holistic response.

- Build understanding of the business implications of technology and take responsibility for initiatives that generate revenue.

- Invest in larger, cross-functional technology efforts that ultimately benefit the organization overall by explicitly aligning on strategic business goals and prioritizing the right initiatives.

- Nurture a culture that supports talent and develop a culture of collaboration across technology teams and between the business and technology sides.

- Translate the technology to leadership stakeholders and board members.

- Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies.

- Lead and manage IT teams, fostering innovation and collaboration.

- Oversee technology infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and solutions.

- Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications :

- You may have a track record with technology / engineering companies and may have performed in positions such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or Chief Digital Officer.

- The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, change management, business operations and a principled approach to broad digital transformational challenges and opportunities.

- You may also share a common set of characteristics - such as strong leadership and people skills and bring the experience that drives innovation and customer value.

- Software Development and Product Development skills.

- Project Management proficiency.

- IT Strategy and Architecture expertise.

- Experience in leading technology teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or TOGAF are a plus.
