Sr. Software Developer - EMV

About the Role:

We seek an experienced EMV Chip Personalization (Perso) Profile Developer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize EMV chip personalization profiles for payment cards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient personalization processes that align with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Profile Development: Design and develop EMV chip personalization profiles for payment cards (RuPay, Mastercard, Visa, JCB, etc.).
• Customization & Optimization: Customize EMV profiles to meet specific customer requirements and optimize profiles for efficiency and performance.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of EMV profiles, including quality assurance and troubleshooting.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of profile specifications, updates, and configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, software engineers, and quality assurance teams to deliver accurate and secure profiles on schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in EMV chip personalization, including knowledge of EMV standards and specifications.
• Experience with payment scheme specifications (e.g., Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Discover).
• Familiarity with data preparation and personalization tools
• Strong understanding of cryptographic processes (e.g., RSA, DES, 3DES) and key management.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript and C#) and experience with data preparation scripts for personalization.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in profile data, encryption, and data preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate with experience in developing EMV profiles for different form factors
• Good to have familiarity with financial and security regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and payment card industry (PCI) requirements.
• Previous experience working with personalization bureaus or card, IC manufacturers.
• Knowledge on tools such as SAP, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence.
