Junior Engineer Quality Assurance

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being Supplier Quality Engineer for the company, responsible for incoming inspection for various kind of materials from suppliers, Supplier communication, follow-ups for any non-conformance as per IATF QMS requirements.
• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, layout, control plan and quality plans.
• Closely interacting with suppliers for satisfactory closure of NCR's / 8D.
• Supporting QA head in Supplier audit / selection / continuous evaluation and preparation of rating on monthly basis.
  
• Ensure 5S / CIP / Kaizens are implemented at incoming stage as well as at supplier end.
• Preparation of incoming inspection quality plan & report, monthly supplier performance data.
• Updating the incoming material status in the ERP Software.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Diploma or Graduate Engineer with minimum of 4 years experience in Automobile or Auto Components manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Diploma or Graduate Engineer with minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in Automobile or Auto Components manufacturing industry will be considered for Junior position.
• Candidates from Chennai (In & around Tambaram location) will be given preference.
• Good knowledge in IATF 16949 QMS and must have good Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Basic knowledge of calibration, Proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments
• Preference will be given to Persons from MSME units with strong desire to learn and grow with the organisation.
