Key Purpose fo Job:
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance to all secretarial / corporate governance requirements and ensures that all board procedures are followed and regularly reviewed. The role-holder is also responsible for advising the Management with regards to its duties, responsibilities and powers under various laws, rules and regulations. He/she acts as a link between the Company, Board of Directors, shareholders and regulatory authorities. He/she will also be required to ensure that Accounting is done in a timely and accurate manner, liaise with Internal and Statutory Auditors, finalise the Accounts and ensure all Income Tax related compliances.
Role & responsibilities :
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate with 6 to 8 years of experience and should be qualified as Chartered Accountant (CA) & Company Secretary (CS) qualification (mandatory) Should have in-depth knowledge of trust laws, corporate governance, taxation, and financial compliance. Experience in audit, financial reporting, and trust fund management. Strong understanding of legal documentation and statutory filings. Ability to work with trustees, regulators, and external consultants. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working with Section 8 company, NGOs, Trusts, CSR projects, or Corporate Foundations is a plus
