Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mendix Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Mendix low-code application development, and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Mendix-based applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Mendix Applications: Build end-to-end Mendix applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and refine requirements.
• Design & Configure: Customize and configure Mendix applications based on user requirements, ensuring best practices for user interface and user experience.
• Integrate with External Systems: Use Mendix's integration capabilities to connect with third-party systems, APIs, and databases.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot application bugs, and ensure applications are optimized for performance.
• Mentor Junior Developers: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Mendix developers on the team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clear communication of architecture, functionality, and workflows.
• Agile Development: Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-9 years of experience in Mendix application development.
• Mendix Certification: Mendix Advanced Developer certification is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Mendix, Java, and web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, SOAP, SQL).
• Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases like MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and modern design frameworks.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks in Mendix.
