Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute test cases for front-end, back-end, and non-functional testing.
• Utilize your background in chemistry and materials science to support quality processes in the Chemical/Materials Science industry, conduct domain-relevant software demonstrations, collaborate with internal teams to understand client research workflows, and align testing objectives accordingly.
• Perform end-to-end manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications, ensuring compliance with business and technical specifications.
• Analyze software requirements and acceptance criteria to determine test scope, including positive, negative, and edge case scenarios.
• Identify, log, and track defects with detailed documentation and reproduction steps.
• Hands-on experience with various testing types, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Exploratory Testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman (manual validation).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with LabVantage, BIOVIA, or similar platforms, especially professionals who have transitioned to digital roles and have a strong interest in technology.
• Strong preference for candidates with Python coding experience and a willingness to integrate technical skills with domain expertise.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Software UI/UX testing principles and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

• Experience with test automation tools and scripting.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
