Job Description
- End-to-End Recruitment:
- Manage the complete recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and closing hires.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and role specifications.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct interviews, skill assessments, and reference checks.
- Prepare offer letters, salary negotiation, and ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection to joining.
- Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience from offer acceptance to their first day.
- Ensure all pre-employment checks, document verification, and legal formalities are completed.
- Coordinate with internal teams for IT setup, access permissions, and workspace arrangements.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and introduce them to the company culture, policies, and processes.
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and talent pipeline requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations on talent acquisition strategies based on current market trends.
- Help implement best practices in recruitment and onboarding to ensure the company's hiring process is efficient, inclusive, and compliant.
- Talent Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify competitive hiring practices, trends, and compensation benchmarks in the electrical power transmission and distribution industry.
- Use data-driven insights to improve recruitment processes, strategies, and candidate experience.
- Employer Branding:
- Actively contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to the company.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and other recruitment activities to raise awareness of job opportunities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity, candidate status, and onboarding progress.
- Provide regular recruitment performance reports to HR and senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal recruitment policies.
