Job Description
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a Process Automation Engineer. This role will report into the Manager of the General Mills Process Automation Talent Acceleration Center (TAC) and functionally collaborate with our Global Process Automation Team. In this technical role, the Process Automation Engineer will help drive the success of digital transformation and automation efforts at General Mills, by leading, designing, and delivering innovative solutions leveraging multiple process automation technologies such as ServiceNow App-Engine Low Code/Workflow, Automation Anywhere A360 RPA, and Automate Evolve for SAP.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Acts as an expert in ServiceNow App-Engine and knows at least one other automation tool.
- Delivers comprehensive automation solutions globally while working with stakeholders from technologies and business areas.
- Follows the Process Automation Lifecycle Management for delivery and documentation, and reviews colleagues work.
- Helps create documentation that meets the standards of the PA Talent Acceleration Center.
- Serves as a contact for supporting existing automations in PA teams and resolves issues to prevent business disruptions.
- Contributes to global automation platforms, infrastructure, security, and modernization efforts.
- Researches the latest automation technologies and shares insights with technology and business stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- bachelors degree with 6+ years of experience and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expert in ServiceNow App-Engine Low Code/No Code Workflow .
- Client Side and Server-Side Scripting ie Catalogue Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, and UI policies.
- Flow Designer, Actions and Sub-actions.
- ServiceNow Portal, Widgets, HTML, and CSS.
- JavaScript, JSON, XML, and REST APIs.
- Integration of ServiceNow with external systems like ERP, GCP, SAAS, and custom applications.
- System architecture, data, version control and security.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Other ServiceNow modules like CSM, ITSM, SAM, or CMDB.
- Dot Net/Python, Web Technologies, Database, Web APIs.
- Automation Anywhere A360 RPA.
- AI/ML technologies.
- Cloud technologies like GCP/Azure/AWS.
- Automate Evolve for SAP.
- OCR, Chat bot or Process Mining.
